Understanding Automated Responses for Your Instagram Account

Through the Ako Marketing App, you can set up automated responses to customers whenever they comment on a reel on your Instagram account. You can send them a link to bring them to your shop and also send a discount code to incentivize customers to make purchases. This feature not only enhances customer interaction by providing instant gratification but also drives traffic directly to your storefront.

Part 1 - Connect your Facebook Account

Select Page, Business, Instagram Account access for Ako Marketing
Select which Meta Business Portfolio and Pages and Instagram Account

Connect your Facebook Account

Ako Marketing App > Settings > Facebook & Google > Facebook

Allow access to your Pages

Allow access to your Businesses

Allow access to your Instagram accounts

Save and Got it

Congratulations! You have now successfully connected your Facebook Account.

Choose the Business Portfolio
Choose the Page and Assign Akohub as a Partner to your Facebook Page
Choose your Instagram Account
Create a Campaign

Part 2 - Create your Instagram Promotional Campaign

Select Instagram Reels Promotion and Continue

Go to Accounts and Select your Facebook Page with your Instagram Business Account

Make sure to Allow access to messages.
Go to your Instagram app on your mobile device (not PC)
Go to your profile and tap Menu in the top right.
Select Messages and story replies.
Select Message requests.
Below Connected tools, you can toggle ON or off Allow access to messages.

Go to Campaign Automation

Enter your Campaign Name and Select a reel/post from your Instagram Acccount

If you only want to send automated replies when a customer comments on specific keywords, you can set up specific keywords.
We recommend toggling this OFF. This will send automated replies no matter what the customer comments on your Instagram reel/post.

(Recommended) Toggle ON Reply in comment.
You can reply automatically in the customer comment.
Write customized messages to be automatically replied to in the comments to the customer comment.

(Recommended) You can automatically send them a discount code to their Direct Message (DM)
You can select from your existing Shopify discount code or create a new Shopify discount code in your Shopify Admin

Once you’ve selected your Discount Code, you can enter your Website URL which will be included in your DM to the customer.
You can check out the DM preview to ensure the message is what you want to send.

The next and final step is the Promotion.
You can promote this feature on your Loyalty Widget in your store..
Toggle ON Widget promotion.
Enter the Title, Description, Message, and Icon you want to show on your Loyalty Widget.
Check the Preview.
Click Create campaign.

Congratulations! Your Instagram Promotion is now set up and running.
