Integrating Judge.me with Ako Marketing
Integrating Judge.me with Ako Marketing allows you to reward customers for leaving product reviews, enhancing your loyalty program and encouraging valuable customer feedback. This guide will walk you through the setup process and help you configure effective review reward rules.
Before You Start
- ✅ Ensure you are subscribed to Judge.me's Awesome Plan and Ako Marketing's Platinum Plan (or above).
- ✅ Make sure Judge.me is properly installed and configured in your Shopify store.
- ✅ If you haven't installed Ako Marketing App, click here to install.
Step 1: Connect Judge.me with Ako Marketing
Navigate to Integration Settings

From Ako Marketing admin, navigate to Loyalty Program > Settings and click Integration.

In the Integrations section, locate Judge.me and click the "Connect" button.
Authorize Integration

Enter your shop domain and click "Sign In".

Click "Authorize" to complete the connection. Once connected, you'll see a confirmation message.
Step 2: Set Up Review Rewards
Navigate to Ways to Earn
- Navigate to Loyalty Program > Ways to Earn Reward.

Click "+Add New" and select "Write a product review".
Configure the Reward
Follow these instructions to set up the review reward rule:
1. Name the Reward: Enter a title that will be displayed in the loyalty widget.
2. Reward Type: Choose between Points or Discount Code.

Define the criteria for a qualifying review (Eligibility, Format, and Minimum Rating).

Can I use Shopify Flow to award points for specific products?
Absolutely. By using a Condition in Shopify Flow to check for specific Product IDs or Tags when an order is paid, you can trigger the "Award Points" action from Ako Marketing only for those items.
What happens if a customer cancels an order after points were awarded via Shopify Flow?
By default, points awarded via Shopify Flow actions are added to the customer's balance. You can create a second workflow in Shopify Flow triggered by "Order canceled" that uses the "Adjust Points" action in Ako Marketing to deduct the corresponding points.
Can I award extra points based on specific customer tags?
Yes. In Shopify Flow, you can add a condition to check if a customer has a specific tag (like "VIP-Influencer"). If the condition is met, the workflow can trigger the Ako Marketing "Award Points" action to give those specific groups extra rewards.
