Introduction

Integrating Judge.me with Ako Marketing allows you to reward customers for leaving product reviews, enhancing your loyalty program and encouraging valuable customer feedback. This guide will walk you through the setup process and help you configure effective review reward rules.

Before You Start

✅ Ensure you are subscribed to Judge.me's Awesome Plan and Ako Marketing's Platinum Plan (or above).

✅ If you haven't installed Ako Marketing App, [click here to install].

✅ Make sure Judge.me is properly installed and configured in your Shopify store.

Step 1: Connect Judge.me with Ako Marketing

Navigate to Integration Settings

  1. From Ako Marketing admin, navigate to the Loyalty Program > Settings and click Integration

  1. In the Integrations section, locate Judge.me and click the "Connect" button

Authorize Integration

  1. Enter your shop domain and click "Sign In"

  1. Click "Authorize" to complete the connection

  1. Once connected, you'll see a confirmation message indicating successful integration

Step 2: Set Up Review Rewards

Navigate to Ways to Earn

  1. Navigate to Loyalty Program > Ways to Earn Reward

  2. Click "+Add New" and select "Write a product review"

Configure the Reward

Follow these instructions to set up the review reward rule:

  1. Name the Reward: Enter a title that will be displayed in the "ways to earn reward" section within the loyalty widget

  1. Reward Type: Choose either Points or Discount Code as the reward type

  1. Tier-Based Rewards (Optional): If you prefer tier-based rewards, check the option "Different points value based on VIP tiers" and click "Edit value" to customize the reward for each tier 📝 For discount codes, you can offer:

    • Amount off orders (percentage or fixed amount)

    • Free shipping rewards

    • You can also set minimum purchase requirements for discount redemption

Define Review Content Requirements

Define what content a review should include in the Reward Conditions section:

  1. Reviewer Eligibility:

    • Any reviewer: Open to anyone, regardless of purchase history

    • Buyers only: Only verified buyers will receive the review invitation and are eligible for rewards

  2. Review Format:

    • Accept any review

    • Only reviews with both title and body

  3. Minimum Rating:

    • Set a specific rating requirement for reviews to qualify for rewards

    • For example, only customers who leave a 5-star review will be rewarded

Set Reward Details

  1. Reward Expiry:

    • Set an expiry date (from 1 month to 120 months) for the reward

    • Or make them never expire

  1. Icon:

    • Add an icon for the reward in loyalty widget

    • Choose default or upload custom icon

Save and Activate

Once all settings are finalized:

  1. Click Save

  2. Switch the status to Active

The review reward is now live and customers will start earning rewards for their product reviews according to your specified conditions.
