Step 1: Export Customer Data from Bon Loyalty

Navigate to the Customers page in your Bon Loyalty dashboard

Click Export data in the upper right corner

Click Export data to receive your CSV file in your email address
Step 2: Import Customer Data to Akohub
In your Shopify admin, go to Ako Marketing > Settings > Customer Import
Select the appropriate Import Type based on your needs:

Edit Points: Add/subtract or set specific loyalty point values

Manage VIP Tiers: Update customer membership levels
-
Edit Customer Profiles: Modify customer details like birthdays or gender
Step 3: Configure Import Settings
Import Type #1: Edit Points
When you might need this:
-
You want to give points to multiple customers at once
-
You're moving to Shopify from another platform
-
You're switching from another loyalty app to Ako Marketing
How to do this:

Choose the point action:
Add or subtract points: Give or take away points from what customers already have
For example: Give 100 extra points as a bonus for the new loyalty program
Set exact points: Give exact points to customers
For example: Import all the points from your previous platform/app without making any changes

Both point actions have a similar template:
What does it mean?

Customer ID: Each customer's Shopify number
-
Points: How many points to add or remove (use minus sign for taking away points)
-
When points expire: Date in yyyy-mm-dd format (leave empty if they don't expire)
Import Type #2: Manage VIP Tiers
When you might need this:
-
You want to upgrade or change VIP Tiers for certain customers
-
You're moving from another platform/app and want to keep membership levels
-
You want to give VIP status to existing non-VIP customers
How to do it:

Go to Ako Marketing > Settings > Customer Import and pick "Manage VIP tiers"

Optional: Check the box for "Customer will be issued the rewards once the tier is achieved" if you want customers to get their Tier upgrade rewards right away

Customer ID: Each customer's Shopify number

Tier Name: Which VIP level you want them to have
Important: Make sure the tier name matches exactly as what you’ve set in the app, including lowercase and uppercase letters.
Import Type #3: Edit Customer Profile
When you might need this:

You want to bring over birthday information or gender information from another platform/app
How to do it:

Go to Ako Marketing > Settings > Customer Import and choose "Edit customer profile"

Download and fill out the template here:
This is what our template looks like:

Customer ID: Each customer's Shopify number
-
Birthday: When they were born (yyyy-mm-dd format)
-
Gender: Choose from man, woman, transgender, or prefer No Response
Remember: Make sure the birthday and gender matches exactly how you’ve set it in the app, including the gender options.
Step 4: Upload Your CSV File

Once your template is updated, upload the CSV files
-
You will need to upload each CSV file for each action
-
Optional: Add a note about why you're changing points
-
Public note: A note visible to customers in their points activity record.
-
Internal note: A note for internal use only, not visible to customers.
3. Click Next to validate your file
4. Click Smart Import to make the changes
5. Check Import History to make sure everything worked
