Before you start

1. Excludes a Specific Product

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Products.
  2. Use the checkboxes to select each product that you want to edit.
  3. In the Tags section, enter "ako-exclude-points-redemption" and click Save.

2. Exclude a Collection or a Group of Products

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Products.
  2. Select the products and click "Bulk Edit".
  3. Click the "Columns" button in the upper right corner and check "Tags".


  4. In the Tags column, enter "ako-exclude-points-redemption" and Save.

3. Checkout Process When Excluded Products Are Added to the Cart

  1. If the cart includes a product excluded from point redemption, the entire cart will be blocked from redeeming points, and a reminder will be displayed: "Discount can't be applied when there are point discount unavailable products".
  2. Customers will be able to redeem their points as long as they checkout normal items and excluded products separately.
