  • Activate Store Credits
  • Setup Store Credit Name
  • Give Store Credit Rewards to customers whenever they place an order

To give access, please update your store’s login links to new customer accounts and ensure store credit is activated in your Customer accounts settings of your Shopify admin. Learn more about store credits here

  5. Setup Store Credit Name

Customize your store credit reward rate. The reward rate is set to 3% by default. To activate and adjust it, complete the Place an Order reward settings to let customers start earning store credit. Automatically reward store credit based on the order total. For example, 3% means earning $3 store credits for every $100 spent.

  7. Give Store Credit Rewards to customers who sign up.  

Customers will see this in their cart and at checkout. Customers earn rewards by creating an account. (Maximum of 5 rewards.) - Can provide same rewards multiple times.The rewards will be displayed on the widget.

Go to your store and open the Loyalty Widget (Rewards).


In the Rewards section, you can see 2 Ways to Earn Rewards:

  1. Place an order for 3% Store credit

  2. Sign up for $10 USD Store credits

Create An Account or Login

Click Login or Create Account

Shopify’s New Account System allows customers to create an account directly with Login

All customers will need to do is to enter their email address and a 6 digit verification code will be sent to their email

You will be taken directly to your account page.

Click on the store’s logo to go back to the home page.


Once you are on your Home Page: Open the Loyalty Widget (Rewards) again. Because you’ve signed up, the Sign Up reward is no longer shown.  Only Place an order Reward will be shown.

Go to your Account. You can check that you’ve received the Sign Up reward in your Activities.  Or in the Store credit section.

Congratulations!  You have now set up your loyalty program with Store Credit Rewards!

Your customers can now earn Store Credits by signing up or by placing orders.
