Setting up a sign-up reward creates a positive first impression and encourages customers to engage with your loyalty program from the start. This feature allows you to automatically reward new members with points, discounts, or special offers upon registration.

Use sign-up rewards to increase program enrollment and kickstart customer engagement with your brand.

How to set up:

  1. Navigate to Loyalty Program > Ways to earn reward

  1. Click “+ Add New” reward (Sign up) > Click “Edit”

  2. Select “Add new reward”




Choose between points, store credits, discount code, or free shipping as rewards.


Points Reward

This reward allows you to give customers points for signing up to your store. You can customize two key elements in this section:

  1. Title: Enter a custom name for your points reward that will be displayed to customers. For example, you might name it "Signup Bonus Points," "New Member Points," or "Registration Reward Points."

  2. Reward Value: Set the specific number of points customers will receive. You can adjust this value (such as 100 points, 250 points, 500 points, etc.) based on your overall loyalty program strategy. Customers will see both the title and point value in their loyalty widget or account page. Points rewards like this typically serve as the foundation of a broader loyalty program where customers can accumulate points through various actions and later redeem them for discounts or special offers.

Store Credit Reward 

This reward allows you to give customers store credit for signing up to your store. You can customize two key elements in this section:

  1. Title: Enter a custom name for your store credit reward that will be displayed to customers. For example, you might name it "Signup Credit," "Welcome Bonus," or "New Member Credit."

  2. Reward Value: Set the specific dollar amount customers will receive as store credit. You can adjust this value (such as $5, $10, $15, etc.) based on your business model and customer acquisition strategy. Customers will see both the title and credit amount in their loyalty widget or account page. Store credit rewards provide immediate monetary value that customers can apply toward purchases on your site, encouraging them to shop and potentially spend more than the credit amount.

Amount Off Order 

This reward allows you to give customers a discount on their purchase for signing up to your store. You can customize several key elements in this section:

  1. Title: Enter a custom name for your discount that will be displayed to customers. For example, you might name it "Signup Discount," "New Customer Offer," or "Registration Special."

  2. Value Type and Amount: Choose between:

    • Percentage: Set a percentage discount (such as 10%, 20%, 30%)

    • Fixed amount: Set a specific dollar amount discount (such as $5, $10, $15)

  3. Minimum Purchase Requirements: Select from these options:

    • No minimum requirements

    • Minimum purchase amount ($)

    • Minimum quantity of items

  4. Combinations: Choose which other discounts this reward can be combined with:

    • Product discounts

    • Other discounts

    • Shipping discounts 

    • Customers will see the title and discount amount in their loyalty widget or account page. They can enter the discount code at the checkout page.

    • This flexible discount type allows you to create strategic signup offers that can either stand alone or work alongside other promotions in your store.

Free Shipping 

This reward allows you to offer customers free shipping on their order for signing up to your store. You can customize several key elements in this section:

  1. Title: Enter a custom name for your free shipping offer that will be displayed to customers. For example, you might name it "Signup Free Shipping," "New Member Delivery," or "Welcome Free Shipping."

  2. Minimum Purchase Requirements: Select from these options:

    • No minimum requirements

    • Minimum purchase amount ($)

    • Minimum quantity of items

  3. Combinations: Choose which other discounts this free shipping reward can be combined with:

    • Product discounts

    • Other discounts Customers will see the title of this reward in their loyalty widget or account page.  They will see the discount on the checkout page.

    • Free shipping is a powerful signup incentive that can significantly increase conversion rates while removing a common obstacle to completing purchases.
