What's New?

Starting from February 2025, your store's reward program will support multiple rewards per task. This means when customers complete a task, they can receive up to five different rewards instead of just one. This guide will help you update your email templates so your customers can get notified about all their rewards properly.

Do I need to read this?

If you installed Ako Marketing  before January 2025, please follow these steps to update your email settings. This update ensures your customers won't miss out on any of their earned rewards.

Here's what's different now:

Before this update:
  • Each task could only give customers one reward (e.g., points for completing their profile)
  • Emails only showed that single reward.
After this update:
  • Each task can now give up to 5 rewards at once (e.g., points + discount + free shipping)
  • Emails will show all rewards earned from each task.

Step-by-Step Instructions

If you prefer written instructions, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to Email Template Settings

  1. From your Shopify admin, navigate to Ako Marketing > Settings > Email Notifications.
  2. A popup will appear showing new templates being added and legacy templates to be removed.
  3. Click "Customize New Templates" to continue.

Step 2: Customize New Templates 

  1. Click "Edit" on each new template and update content as needed.
  2. Click "Save" after confirming each template and turn on the notifications.

Step 3: Migrate to New Templates

  1. Review all customized templates
  2. Click "Migrate > Migrate now" to replace legacy templates.
  3. Legacy templates will be automatically removed.
