Verifying steps

Go to https://search.google.com/search-console/about and click Start Now.

From the main menu ( ≡ ), click "+Add property".

Select "URL prefix" and enter your domain(including https://) to continue.

Copy the meta tag from the HTML tag section.

Next, navigate to your Shopify admin > Online store > Themes and click "Edit code" on your current theme.

In the "theme.liquid" file, paste the meta tag into <head> section and save your changes.

Go back to the HTML tag section and click on VERIFY.
🚨Reminder: Before clicking VERIFY, please go to Shopify admin > Online store > Theme > Preference and check if you've removed the store password. Having a store password can cause Google to reject the verification request. -
Once verification is complete, you'll receive an email notification. Usually the process can take a few days.
