Connecting your Google account to the Ako Marketing app enables you to sync email data and run marketing campaigns efficiently. Follow these steps to securely authorize the connection:
Step 1: Go to Integrations
- Navigate to the "Settings" in the Ako app dashboard.
- Select "Facebook & Google".
- Click on “Connect with Google Account.”

Step 2: Grant Access
- A Google sign-in window will appear.
- Review the access permissions and click allow to continue

Step 3: Choose Your Google Ads Account
The ad account section is where the Google Ads account you’ll use to run advertising campaigns. From the dropdown menu labeled “-- select an option --”, choose the Ad Account you usually use for advertising.
⚠️ Important: Choose the same Google account that you used in your Shopify store, to avoid syncing issues.

Step 4: Choose Your Google Analytics Account
The analytics account is your Google Analytics account you’ll use to track campaign performance. Two dropdown menus are available: Universal Analytics (UA) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Step 5: Complete the Setup
After selecting both the Ad Account and Analytics Account, click the orange “Complete setup” button. This will finalize the connection and allow you to start creating and tracking campaigns within Ako.
