How to Create a Facebook Audience?

A Facebook campaign is a way to show ads to people on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. You choose who sees your ad and what the ad will say or show. In order to create a Facebook campaign, merchants need to start by creating a Facebook audience. This guide will help you on how to create a Facebook audience.

Step 1: Go to Facebook Audience

You start by going to Campaigns > Audience > Facebook Audience section. This is where you manage your audience and the people you want to show your ads to.

Step 2: Create a New Audience

To start, click "+Create Audience". Next, select Facebook Platform.

Step 3: Choose an Audience

You can pick from different sources. Pick the one that fits your goal.

• Website Visitors

• Product Engagers

• Page Engagers

• Lookalike Audiences (people similar to your customers)

• Instagram Engagers

Shopify

• Customers: These are people who already bought something from your store.

• Abandoned Checkouts: These are people who added items to their cart but didn’t finish buying.

Facebook

• Website Visitors: These are people who visited your website. You can show ads to them because they’ve already shown interest in your brand.

• Products Engagers: These people looked at or clicked on your products, either on your site or Facebook/Instagram Shop.

• Lookalike Audiences: Facebook finds people who are similar to your existing customers. This helps you reach new customers who act like your best ones.

• Page Engagers: These are people who liked, commented, or interacted with your Facebook page.

Instagram

• Instagram Engagers: Liked or commented on your posts/stories.

After selecting your audience type, click Next. Then, you can start building your ad and setting a budget, schedule, and other settings.
