To help keep the Meta (Facebook) advertising platform safe and compliant, Meta may require advertisers to verify business and beneficiary information. This verification is handled directly by Meta, not by Akohub.

Why does Meta require verification?
In some countries, Meta requires additional verification to comply with local regulations and ensure transparency around who creates, funds, or benefits from ads. If verification is not completed, your ads may not be published in those markets.
Markets that currently require verification
Prior authorization is required to run Facebook ads in the following markets:
- Singapore
- Taiwan

👉 This applies even when using Akohub to create or manage campaigns.
Before you begin verification
- Ensure you are authorized to represent the business.
- Verify all submitted information is accurate and up to date.
Providing false information may result in verification failure or restrictions on your Meta ad account, enforced solely by Meta.
Content-specific verification
Some ad categories (regulated content) may require additional approval even in markets that don’t usually require verification, depending on ad content, industry, and local laws.
How does this affect Akohub campaigns?
- Akohub helps you create and manage your retargeting campaigns.
- Meta controls the verification, approval, and final publishing of ads.
- Campaigns will only run in restricted markets after verification is completed within your Meta account.
