Add the Ako Discount Code tile to Shopify POS so your store staff can view a customer’s discount codes from the Ako Marketing Loyalty Program and apply them at checkout. This gives customers a consistent experience when using their rewards online and in-store.
Before you start
Make sure the Ako Discount Code tile has been added to your Shopify POS home screen. If you haven’t connected Ako Marketing to Shopify POS or need help adding a tile, please refer to our Shopify POS integration guide.
1. Find the customer and view their discount codes
From the Shopify POS home screen, tap search and select the customer.
Then tap Ako Discount Codes tile, the screen will display all of the customer’s discount codes from the Ako Marketing Loyalty Program.
2. Review and apply a discount code
Tap an available discount code to open its details and review the terms of use.
Once confirmed, tap Apply. When the button changes to Applied, the discount code has been successfully applied to the current cart.
3. Remove applied discount codes
To remove a discount code: tap the discount in the cart → Remove all → Remove all discounts
💡 Note: Discount codes must currently be removed using Shopify POS’s Remove all discounts option. Individual discount codes cannot be removed separately. To keep any of those discounts, apply them again after removing all discounts.
